something about dns records

So I managed to get my site up on a custom doman! (kind of… it exists at omg.lol). Exciting! I’m not sure I understand it entirely but I can recount my steps.

1. Add Netlify site (www.benjacoblee.netlify.app) as a CNAME record on omg.lol
2. Add IP address on omg.lol as an A record (so my services still have somewhere to resolve to? Unclear)
3. Add custom domain to Netlify DNS system
